About this fabric

The close weave combines tobacco, ochre and muted brown tones, creating gentle tonal movement rather than a flat block of colour. Fine crosswise and lengthwise threads are visible across the surface, giving the fabric a restrained textured finish. The shade reads warm and earthy in the swatch, with a quiet depth that suits relaxed upholstery. No performance features are noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use Hackney Tobacco on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its warm tobacco tone can sit alongside timber, aged brass, cream or deeper brown accents. It would also work well as a calm, textural counterpoint to cooler stone or blue-grey furnishings.

A warm, textured tobacco weave that brings understated depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
