About this fabric

The colour sits between soft cream and natural parchment, with a gentle warmth rather than a bright or stark white cast. A fine, closely woven surface creates subtle vertical and horizontal texture without introducing a visible motif. This light-looking cloth is best read as a drapery fabric, where its restrained texture can remain delicate in falling folds. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Pair Hackney Parchment with warm white walls, pale oak and lightly aged brass to bring out its creamy parchment tone. It would suit full-length curtains or relaxed Roman blinds where the fine weave can catch soft daylight.

Use this warm parchment cream for softly filtered curtains and calm, light-filled interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
