Avebury FabricCCF0246-04

Bibury Ivory is a pale, softly warmed cream woven with a fine vertical grain and a scattering of small, irregular ivory marks. The low-contrast surface gives the colourway a light, quietly textured appearance.

About this fabric

The ivory ground is close in tone to the raised motifs, so the scattered dashes and curved fragments appear softly blended rather than strongly patterned. A fine woven structure and subtle vertical striation are visible across the surface, adding depth without taking the fabric away from its pale colour. With a 343gsm weight and 137cm usable width, this is a substantial textile suited to upholstered applications. Its pattern repeat measures 31cm vertically by 32cm horizontally, creating a gently dispersed small-scale design.

How to use it

Use Bibury Ivory on a reading chair, headboard or tailored sofa where its warm pale tone can lift darker timber and natural textures. Pair it with chalky whites, oatmeal and soft stone shades for a calm, tonal scheme.

Use this softly textured ivory weave to brighten upholstered seating while retaining a quiet, layered look.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bibury Ivory without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
