Monterrey Ivory presents a pale ivory ground scattered with softly broken taupe-mauve marks. The close view reveals a lightly textured surface and a gentle, weathered contrast rather than a sharp graphic pattern.

About this fabric

The pale ivory base keeps this colourway light and warm, while dusty taupe and mauve-grey motifs add subdued depth across the surface. Irregular vertical clusters and feathered edges give the design its distinct distressed character, with the lighter ground showing between each mark. At 519gsm and 137cm usable width, it is a substantial textile well suited to upholstery. The pattern repeats over 52cm vertically and 34.3cm horizontally, creating a measured rhythm within the scattered arrangement.

How to use it

Use Monterrey Ivory on a statement chair, headboard or sofa where its warm ivory ground can brighten the form while the muted mauve-taupe markings add quiet tonal interest. Pair it with chalky neutrals, aged wood and soft mauve accents for a restrained, layered room.

Use the warm ivory ground with taupe-mauve accents to soften tailored upholstery in a calm, layered scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
