About this fabric

The rich spice-orange ground is warm and saturated, while the chalky cream and muted grey motifs create a distressed, mineral-like contrast across the face. Irregular vertical fragments vary in density, giving the 52cm vertical by 34.3cm horizontal repeat an organic rhythm rather than a rigid geometric effect. At 519gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with a usable width of 137cm and a standard length of 40m. The woven texture softens the intensity of the terracotta, allowing the lighter marks to catch the eye without making the overall colourway feel bright.

How to use it

Use Monterrey Spice on a statement sofa, armchair or dining seat where its warm terracotta depth can anchor a room. Pair it with chalk neutrals, aged timber and charcoal-grey accents to pick up the contrasting marks in the weave.
