About this fabric

The visible surface is an earthy red-orange, reading as burnt terracotta with subtle darker and lighter variations across the nap or weave. At 300gsm and 144cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight textile for upholstery and drapery. The plain design has no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, allowing the colour and lightly brushed texture to remain the focus. Each standard length is 35 metres.

How to use it

Pair Alvar Flamingo with warm neutrals, aged timber and muted brass for an enveloping scheme, or use it as a grounded accent against pale plaster tones. Its deep red-orange character works particularly well on occasional chairs, cushions and relaxed curtains.

Use this warm, softly textured terracotta shade to bring depth to seating, cushions or full-length curtains.
