About this fabric
This plain fabric is coloured in a muted grape purple, balancing violet depth with a slightly softened, dusky finish rather than a bright saturated tone. Its fine surface texture creates quiet variation across the swatch, while the absence of a visible motif keeps the colour at the centre. With a 300 gsm weight and a 144 cm usable width, it is suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, and the standard length is 35 m.
How to use it
Use Alvar Grape to give a chair, headboard or full-length curtain a deep violet anchor, especially alongside warm neutrals, smoked timber or pale stone. Its muted tone can read atmospheric in low light and more softly plum-toned in brighter rooms.
The muted grape-purple tone brings depth to upholstery and drapery while its subtle surface texture prevents the plain colour from feeling flat.
