About this fabric
The image shows a densely woven textile in a muted damson shade, balancing soft purple with charcoal-grey and brown undertones. Fine horizontal and vertical threads form a discreet crosshatch texture rather than a visible motif. At 370 gsm, it has a substantial presence suited to upholstery, while the 137 cm usable width allows practical cutting for furniture projects. The pattern repeat is 0 cm vertically and horizontally, and the standard length is 40 m.
How to use it
Use this cool, smoky damson on a statement armchair, headboard or compact sofa where its plum depth can sit against warm timber, stone or softly contrasting neutrals. The understated weave also works well when a room needs colour without a pronounced pattern.
