About this fabric

The design reads as a regular woven grid, with narrow pale channels separating columns of closely packed horizontal marks. Its damson tone is subdued rather than bright, sitting between dusty plum, mauve and warm brown as the light moves across the textured surface. The compact repeat and even geometry give the cloth a smart, tailored character without making the colour feel stark. How to use it
