Westray Heather
Westray FabricLF1932
Westray Heather combines muted lilac-purple yarns with warm cream fibres in a closely woven, softly irregular geometric texture. The pale heathered effect gives the colourway a gentle, slightly chalky depth rather than a vivid purple finish.

About this fabric
Viewed close up, the surface is formed from small interlocking diagonal marks, with cream and lilac threads creating a broken geometric rhythm across the cloth. The mixed yarns give the weave a tactile, lightly flecked appearance, while the subdued purple tone keeps the overall effect calm and softened. At approximately 137cm wide, Westray Heather is specified for fixed upholstery and is suitable for Contract and General Domestic use. It is composed of 30% wool and 70% cotton and should be dry cleaned.
How to use it
Use Westray Heather on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its cool muted purple can sit comfortably with chalky neutrals, pale timber and brushed metal. The cream flecks help connect it to lighter upholstery and softly patterned accessories without losing the weave’s subtle geometric character.
The softly heathered lilac-and-cream weave brings understated pattern and tactile depth to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Westray Heather without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
