Westray Powder Blue

Westray FabricLF1932

Westray Powder Blue has a cool, pale blue ground interlaced with soft ivory threads, creating a finely textured surface. Its small broken-chevron weave gives the cloth quiet geometric movement without a strong printed motif.

About this fabric

This closely woven Linwood fabric is 137cm wide and made from 30% wool and 70% cotton. The visible surface combines powder blue and ivory yarns in a compact, softly irregular zigzag texture that catches the light in small flecks. Supplied for fixed upholstery, it is graded for Contract and General Domestic use. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use Westray Powder Blue on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its cool, misty blue tone can soften darker timber and neutral interiors. Repeat the ivory threads with warm white cushions or upholstery piping for a calm, lightly textured scheme.

Use the cool powder-blue and ivory weave to bring gentle pattern and texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
