Westray Ocean

Westray FabricLF1932

Westray Ocean has a cool, deep ocean-blue ground threaded with pale grey flecks that form broken diagonal and abstract geometric marks. Its closely woven surface gives the colourway a textured, dimensional appearance rather than a flat blue finish.

About this fabric

Made from 30% wool and 70% cotton, Westray Ocean is a 137cm-wide fabric specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. The dense weave combines dark blue, blue-grey and light neutral yarns in irregular stepped lines and small angular shapes. The pale threads catch across the surface, lifting the cool ground with a softly mottled contrast while retaining an overall composed, smart look. After-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use Westray Ocean on a sofa, chair or banquette where its cool blue depth can anchor pale timber, soft grey and natural woven accents. The broken geometric weave also works well as a patterned counterpoint to plain cushions in chalk, slate or muted lilac.

Use the cool ocean-blue ground and pale broken geometry to bring measured pattern to fixed seating in contemporary or coastal interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
