About this fabric

The small herringbone structure is clearly visible in this colourway, with fine interlaced threads creating gentle variation rather than a bold pattern. Faroe Sky’s cool blue-grey tone has a quiet, lightly weathered quality that works well where a room needs colour without strong saturation. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. The composition combines 16% linen, 18% viscose, 20% cotton, 40% wool and 6% polyester; after-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use Faroe Sky on an upholstered chair, banquette or tailored curtain to introduce a cool blue-grey layer, then warm it with oak, aged brass or natural woven accessories. Its fine herringbone adds understated detail beside plain charcoal, cream or soft lilac textiles.

Pair the cool blue-grey tone with pale timber, charcoal upholstery or soft lilac accents for a calm, tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
