Faroe Navy

Faroe FabricLF2042

Faroe Navy is a deeply shaded textile with a fine, closely spaced herringbone visible across its surface. The near-ink navy ground is lifted by subtle blue-grey threads, giving the swatch quiet depth rather than a flat solid appearance.

About this fabric

The small herringbone weave creates a neat, directional texture, with the dark navy tone reading almost charcoal in the deeper areas of the swatch. Its composition is 40% wool, 20% cotton, 18% viscose, 16% linen and 6% polyester, combining several natural and regenerated fibres in the woven surface. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. After-care is dry clean only.

How to use it

Use Faroe Navy where an ink-dark blue is needed to anchor a room without introducing a strong pattern; it suits tailored seating, dining chairs and understated curtains alongside pale timber, warm neutrals or brushed metal.

Use its ink-dark navy depth to bring quiet contrast to tailored upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
