About this fabric

The fabric shows a tightly repeated herringbone made from near-black, charcoal and lighter grey threads, creating depth without a bold colour contrast. Its 40% wool, 20% cotton, 18% viscose, 16% linen and 6% polyester composition gives this 137cm-wide cloth a substantial woven character. Supplied for curtains and fixed upholstery, it is rated for Contract and General Domestic use. Faroe Storm is dry clean only.

How to use it

Use this cool, dark grey colourway to upholster a structured chair, banquette or sofa where its fine herringbone can read as texture rather than pattern. It also makes quietly tailored curtains, particularly alongside pale timber, chalky walls or warmer neutral accents.

A deep charcoal herringbone that brings tailored texture to curtains and fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
