About this fabric

This Linwood velvet is woven in a muted feather grey that sits between pale grey and soft taupe, with no visible motif or pattern. Its close pile creates delicate tonal shifts across the swatch as the nap changes direction, rather than a bright sheen. At approximately 140cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. The composition is 12% cotton, 17% acrylic and 71% polyester; after-care is Delicate Wash at 30°C or dry clean.

How to use it

Use this cool feather grey on a tailored sofa, headboard or dining seat for a calm, quietly polished finish, or let it fall as understated curtains against warmer timber and textured neutrals.

The cool, muted grey velvet brings understated depth to upholstered seating and full-length curtains.
