Kerplunk Steel Grey

Omega Prints FabricLF2211FR

Kerplunk Steel Grey has a cool, layered appearance, with fine pale and charcoal strokes crossing over a steel blue-grey ground. The dense angular marks create a tactile-looking abstract surface with plenty of visual movement.

About this fabric

This small-scale geometric print is built from closely packed, irregular line marks in soft white, charcoal and blue-grey, giving the colourway a quietly graphic character rather than a flat plain effect. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery and is graded for Contract and General Domestic use. The composition is 88% Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, with an allowance for 3% shrinkage. The listed design information gives a 57cm offset repeat, while care options include Delicate Wash at 30°C, Dry Clean and Spongeable treatment.

How to use it

Use this cool steel grey on a contemporary chair, banquette or full-length curtain where its fine pale marks can soften darker architectural finishes. It works especially well alongside charcoal, icy whites and muted blue accents.

Pair the cool steel grey ground with pale timber, charcoal upholstery or brushed metal for a crisp contemporary scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kerplunk Steel Grey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
