Chesil Beach Brick is a densely patterned Linwood print built from tiny, leaf-like marks in warm brick, olive, cream, blue-grey and charcoal. The close-set motif gives the colourway a richly layered, slightly weathered appearance.

About this fabric

The small abstract marks create a lively all-over surface, with russet and brick-red fragments standing out against muted olive, stone, cream and blue-grey details. Its restrained, earthy palette has more warmth and depth than a bright multicoloured print, while the fine dark outlines keep the pattern defined. At approximately 30cm wide, this fabric is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. It is composed of 88% polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose; allow 3% shrinkage, with delicate washing at 30°C, dry cleaning and spongeable care listed.

How to use it

Use this brick-led colourway on a compact upholstered chair, bench or fixed seat, then repeat its olive and blue-grey accents in plain cushions or painted joinery. It also brings useful pattern and warmth to curtains without relying on a single flat red tone.

Pair the rust-brick accents with warm timber, olive, cream or charcoal upholstery and furnishings.
