Java Lotus brings together deep blue-green, dusty pink, terracotta, olive, taupe and cream in a richly coloured geometric patchwork. Its repeating blocks have the irregular character of a printed kilim, with plenty of tonal depth across the surface.

About this fabric

The large-scale design is built from rectangular panels containing zigzags, broken stripes, circular rosettes and stepped motifs, all in a muted, earthy palette. Deep blue-green and brown-purple sections give the pattern depth, while terracotta, dusty rose, olive and cream accents keep the composition warm and varied. Java Lotus is composed of 88% Polyester, 8% Acrylic and 4% Viscose, with an approximate width of 137cm and an allowance for 3% shrinkage. It is graded Contract and General Domestic for Curtains and Fixed Upholstery, with Delicate Wash 30°C, Dry Clean and Spongeable after-care.

How to use it

Use Java Lotus on a relaxed occasional chair, bench or fixed seat where its terracotta and olive notes can sit alongside warm timber, or carry the deep blue-green into curtains for a more enveloping scheme. Keep surrounding upholstery simple so the large geometric blocks remain the room’s main pattern.
