Lewin Red/Teal

Boscombe FabricJ0138-08

Lewin Red/Teal has a tightly woven, small-scale texture that blends soft brick red with teal and warm neutral threads. The result is a quietly mottled surface with a gentle, cloth-like depth rather than a bold graphic look.

About this fabric

Boscombe by Jane Churchill is an approx. 140cm-wide fabric with a zero repeat, and this colourway shows that clearly in its even, all-over woven character. The composition of 37% polyester, 28% polyacrylic, 19% viscose, 10% polyacrylic (FR) and 6% linen gives the cloth a slightly dry, textural handle with a softly broken surface. In Lewin Red/Teal, the red reads as a muted terracotta-brick tone while the teal threads cool the overall effect and keep it from feeling overly warm. The close weave and small patterning make the fabric feel tailored and versatile, suitable where you want colour without a strong motif.

How to use it

This red-and-teal blend works well in rooms with wood, aged brass or warm stone, where the colour can feel grounded rather than bright. It would suit compact upholstery pieces, cushions or relaxed drapery that benefits from the fabric’s low-key, woven movement.

Use for tailored upholstery or lined curtains when you want a subtle, colour-woven finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
