Lewin Red
Boscombe FabricJ0138-07
Lewin Red in Boscombe is a tightly woven small-scale fabric with a peppered, textural look and a warm brick-red ground. The colour reads softened rather than bright, with pale yarns breaking up the surface for a gentle heathered effect.

About this fabric
This Boscombe fabric has a compact woven structure that gives the surface a dry, tactile finish rather than a smooth sheen. The Lewin Red colourway mixes muted red with beige and taupe yarns, creating a subdued brick tone that feels warmer in close view and more textured from a distance. It is specified at approximately 140cm wide with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm, so the pattern is built into the weave rather than a printed repeat. The composition of 37% Polyester, 28% Polyacrylic, 19% Viscose, 10% Polyacrylic (FR) and 6% Linen suggests a practical upholstery cloth with enough natural character to keep the finish interesting. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code K are included for reference.
How to use it
Use Lewin Red on a chair, banquette or ottoman where its small woven pattern can add warmth without dominating the room. Its dusty, brick-toned red works especially well with oak, aged brass and neutral linens.
A softly muted red weave that brings warmth and texture to tailored seating.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lewin Red without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
