Buckton Red

Romilly FabricF4930-08

Buckton Red is a softly muted red with a fine, tightly worked surface that reads warm and understated rather than bright. The close weave gives the colour a calm, even finish across the cloth.

About this fabric

Buckton Red from the Romilly collection by Colefax and Fowler is a fabric with no repeat, so the small woven texture sits evenly across the full 139cm width. Its composition is 34% Linen, 33% Viscose, 26% Cotton and 7% Polyester, giving the cloth a natural look with a smoother, slightly refined handle. In this colourway the red is softened with earthy brown and rose notes, creating a dusty brick tone that feels warm but not saturated. The tiny geometric weave catches the light subtly, adding surface interest without breaking up the overall colour. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this shade to bring warmth to a neutral scheme, especially with oak, aged brass or chalky painted finishes. It also suits tailored upholstery and relaxed curtains where the subtle texture can be seen up close.

A muted red with a fine woven texture that works well across relaxed upholstery and tailored curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
