Tigre Red
Pelham FabricF4861-02
Tigre Red pairs a warm brick-red motif with a pale, earthy ground, giving the design a lively but grounded feel. The small, repeated chevron-like marks create a crisp, rhythmic surface with a distinctly textural look.

About this fabric
This Colefax and Fowler fabric is from the Pelham collection and is woven in 82% viscose and 18% polyester, with a width of approximately 142cm and a repeat of V 32cm / H 18cm approx. The surface reads as a light ground threaded with compact, red leaf-like marks, so the pattern feels directional and animated rather than bold. In Tigre Red, the colour is a warm, earthy red with a slightly berry-toned depth that sits comfortably against the softer background. The overall effect is smart and decorative, with enough visual movement to carry across upholstery or drapery on a smaller scale.
How to use it
Use Tigre Red where you want pattern and warmth together, such as an accent chair, ottoman, or lined curtains in a room with timber and neutral paintwork. Its brick-red tone works especially well beside cream, taupe, and aged brass, where the motif can read clearly without feeling harsh.
A lively small-scale red pattern that brings warmth without overwhelming a room.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
