Foss Brick Red
Balvenie FabricLF2358FR
Foss Brick Red has a richly textured herringbone surface, combining warm brick-red yarns with russet brown and fine pale flecks. The close weave gives this colourway a softly variegated depth rather than a flat red appearance.

About this fabric
Woven from 100% Pure New Wool, Balvenie Foss Brick Red is approximately 137cm wide and specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. Its small-scale herringbone is clearly visible across the swatch, with alternating diagonal ribs catching the light against a deeper red-brown ground. The overall tone is warm, muted and earthy, bringing more depth than a clear scarlet while retaining a distinct brick-red character. It is graded for General Domestic upholstery and should be dry cleaned.
How to use it
Use this warm brick-red colourway to add grounded colour to a reading chair, sofa or tailored curtain, pairing it with aged timber, natural stone and warm neutral walls. Its russet-brown variation also works well with tan leather and muted cream accents.
A warm brick-red herringbone with russet depth, suited to tailored upholstery and softly structured curtains.

Pairs well with
Foss Brick Red is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
