Foss Indigo

Balvenie FabricLF2358FR

Foss Indigo is a deeply shaded indigo wool with a close herringbone weave, shown here with subtle lilac and pale blue flecks running through the dark ground. Its dense, tailored texture gives the colour a quietly dimensional appearance rather than a flat navy finish.

About this fabric

Woven from 100% Pure New Wool, Balvenie Foss Indigo is approximately 137cm wide and specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. The fine herringbone texture alternates dark blue with cooler lilac-grey highlights, creating a gently broken surface that catches the light along each diagonal. This is a cool, deep colourway with a smart, graphic character and enough tonal variation to soften its near-navy depth. It is graded for General Domestic upholstery and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use Foss Indigo on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat when you want a cool, architectural blue with more texture than a plain cloth. As curtains, its dark indigo tone will frame a room with a composed, cocooning feel while the lilac flecks add subtle lift.

Use this cool, finely textured indigo wool to bring tailored depth to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
