About this fabric

This Balvenie colourway is woven in 100% Pure New Wool and measures approximately 137cm wide. Its fine herringbone is built from closely spaced chevrons, creating subtle movement across the ember ground while lighter flecks catch the light. The warm rust-brown tone feels grounded rather than bright, with a subdued copper quality that suits both traditional and contemporary interiors. It is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with General Domestic upholstery grading and dry-clean care.

How to use it

Pair Foss Ember with chalky neutrals, aged timber and deep olive accents, where its warm rust tone can act as a grounded focal colour. On an armchair, headboard or full-length curtain, the fine herringbone adds texture without introducing a bold motif.

Use this warm ember herringbone to bring depth to fixed upholstery or softly structured curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
