Stresa Ember

Stresa Fabric001

Stresa Ember is a warm terracotta plain weave with the softly varied, ember-like depth visible across its close-up surface. Fine intersecting threads create a tactile textile character rather than a printed pattern.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a rich rust-red softened by brown and coral undertones, with subtle tonal shifts running through the tightly woven ground. Its fine horizontal and vertical yarn structure gives the surface a gently textured, lightly irregular appearance that catches the light without sheen. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. The composition is 55% Acrylic, 16% Recycled Polyester, 15% Viscose, 9% Polyester and 5% Linen, with dry-clean care.

How to use it

Use Stresa Ember on a statement armchair, dining chair or compact sofa where its warm rust tone can anchor softer cream, taupe and natural timber finishes. Its plain woven surface also works well with patterned cushions without competing for attention.

Use this warm ember terracotta weave to bring depth to upholstered seating, especially alongside cream, walnut and aged brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
