Stresa Nutmeg

Stresa Fabric001

Stresa Nutmeg has a warm, muted taupe-brown appearance, with the close woven surface creating a finely mottled effect across the swatch. Its understated colour lets the small-scale weave provide the visual interest rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This Linwood fabric is a plain woven textile in a nutmeg shade that sits between soft brown and earthy taupe. The image shows a compact, even weave with tiny tonal variations that catch the light without becoming shiny or patterned. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. Its composition is 15% Viscose, 16% Recycled Polyester, 5% Linen, 55% Acrylic and 9% Polyester, with dry-clean care advised.

How to use it

The warm, grounded nutmeg tone suits upholstered dining chairs, benches and sofas alongside walnut, oak, tan leather or cream upholstery accents. Pair it with woven accessories and softly aged metals to bring out the fabric’s subtle grid-like texture.

Use this warm nutmeg weave on fixed seating where its softly textured surface can complement timber, leather and natural neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
