Helter Skelter Chestnut

Helter Skelter Fabric001

Chestnut brings a toasted, earthy depth to Helter Skelter’s scrolling pattern. In the swatch, narrow blue curves separate pale tan serrated shapes, creating a cool accent across the warm brown base.

About this fabric

This Chestnut colourway sets a deep, warm brown ground against looping blue ribbons and pale tan, leaf-edged forms. The repeated vertical motif has a strong geometric rhythm, while the softly mottled, brushed-looking surface keeps the brown from appearing flat. Woven in 88% polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, it is approximately 137cm wide and specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. It is suitable for Contract and General Domestic use, with delicate washing at 30°C, dry cleaning or sponge care listed.

How to use it

Use the warm chestnut ground to anchor a patterned armchair or fixed-upholstered seat, then pick up the blue curves in a restrained accent. As the fabric is also specified for curtains, it can carry the same earthy pattern onto window dressings.

A warm chestnut ground, pale tan foliage and looping blue ribbons give this textile a confident, classic rhythm for upholstery or curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Helter Skelter Chestnut without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
