About this fabric

The russet colour reads as a rich blend of brown, umber and muted red rather than a bright burgundy, giving this colourway considerable depth. Close up, the velvet has a softly mottled nap with subdued highlights and darker brushed areas that make the surface feel tactile. Composed of 76% polyester and 24% cotton, it is approximately 137cm wide and specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. It is graded for Contract and General Domestic use, with dry-clean care.

How to use it

Use this warm russet brown on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard to add earthy depth, or make generous curtains where the nap can show subtle changes in tone as the light moves. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass, cream or smoked neutral upholstery.
