About this fabric

This plain velvet combines 24% cotton with 76% polyester and has an approximate width of 137cm. The Saffron colourway is a subdued, earthy gold with olive and bronze undertones rather than a bright yellow, giving it a grounded sense of warmth. Fine variations in the nap create darker and lighter passages across the surface, while the short pile produces a gentle velvet sheen. It is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades and dry-clean care.

How to use it

Use this olive-bronze saffron on a statement chair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its directional sheen can be appreciated. It also works as full-length curtains, adding warm depth without the sharper brightness of a clear golden yellow.
