About this fabric

The dense velvet surface combines charcoal, graphite and near-black tones, giving this colourway a cool, atmospheric depth rather than a flat black appearance. Fine variations in the pile create a softly mottled effect, while the design remains visually plain with no defined motif. At approximately 137cm wide, the 24% cotton and 76% polyester fabric is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. It is graded Contract, General Domestic and requires dry-clean care.

How to use it

Use this cool smoke-grey velvet on a structured sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its dark tonal depth can read as almost black in shadow and softer graphite in daylight. It also brings weight and drama to full-length curtains in contemporary, industrial or richly layered rooms.
