Mistral Smoke

Misc Fabric

Mistral Smoke has a dark charcoal ground with a small repeating geometric motif that reads crisp and architectural. The subtle lurex thread gives the surface a faint, smoky shimmer rather than a bright shine.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% polyester and 5% lurex, Mistral Smoke is a 140cm-wide fabric with an 18cm pattern repeat. The design shows a compact, elongated lozenge motif outlined in pale silver against a deep graphite base, creating strong contrast without feeling stark. The texture looks dry and lightly grainy, while the metallic fleck catches the light just enough to lift the pattern. Its scale is small and regular, which keeps the overall effect neat and composed.

How to use it

Use this smoky grey colourway to ground a room with pale woods, black accents or brushed metal finishes. It works especially well on tailored cushions, a statement chair or relaxed curtains where the subtle sheen can be seen in daylight.

A dark, textured neutral that brings quiet pattern and a soft metallic lift.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Mistral Smoke without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
