Mistral Graphite

Misc Fabric

Mistral Graphite shows a dense geometric pattern of small lozenges on a deep charcoal ground, with a subtle gold shimmer worked through the surface. The effect is dark, textured and sharply defined, with the metallic yarn catching the light as the angles shift.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% polyester and 5% lurex, this fabric has a crisp decorative character rather than a flat printed finish. The 140cm width makes it practical for a range of interior projects, while the 18cm pattern repeat gives the small-scale motif a measured, regular rhythm. In this colourway, the graphite ground reads near-black, softened by warm metallic highlights that outline each geometric shape. The lurex brings just enough glint to stop the design feeling heavy, so the overall look stays smart and slightly luxurious.

How to use it

Use Mistral Graphite where you want pattern without brightness: it works well on a statement chair, ottoman or tailored curtains against pale plaster, oak or brass. The charcoal-and-gold contrast gives it enough depth to sit comfortably in a dramatic, layered scheme.

The metallic thread lifts the dark ground, giving it a rich, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
