About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric from the Misc collection is 140cm wide and composed of 83% polyester and 17% cotton, with a 35cm pattern repeat and care code BQV1<. The colourway reads as a washed seafoam blue, softened by cloudy white checks and thin taupe-brown striping that keeps the design from feeling overly crisp. In the image, the weave shows a fine herringbone-like texture within the check, which adds movement and a tactile, homespun quality. It is a versatile textile with enough body for upholstery as well as a lighter, softer presence for curtains and blinds.

How to use it

Use it to lift a room with pale timber, white-painted woodwork and sandy neutrals, where the blue-green ground can stay fresh rather than cold. It also works well with coastal stripes, matte ceramics and linen upholstery for a layered, relaxed scheme.

Use with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metals for a fresh, coastal feel.
