About this fabric

This fabric is supplied at 140cm wide with a 35cm pattern repeat, and it is composed of 83% Polyester and 17% Cotton. The weave reads as a crisp, mid-weight textile rather than a heavy upholstery cloth, so it sits comfortably in the 'both' category for curtains or lighter seating. In this colourway the pink is gentle and chalky, softened further by greyed beige ground tones and slender charcoal checks. The overall effect is restrained and wearable, with enough pattern clarity to hold interest without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use Melrose Pink where you want a softened tartan note: it works well for relaxed curtains, bench cushions or a tailored armchair in a bedroom or sitting room. Its dusty blush and slate contrast also pair neatly with pale oak, putty walls and aged brass.
