About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is composed of 83% Polyester and 17% Cotton, giving the cloth a practical textile handle with a neat, structured look. At 140cm wide with a 35cm pattern repeat, the design has enough scale for statement upholstery or confident drapery. The colourway blends misty dove grey with darker graphite lines and lighter washed panels, so the check feels understated rather than stark. The surface texture visible in the weave adds softness to the strong geometry, making the fabric feel smart and quietly versatile.

How to use it

Use Melrose Dove on a tailored armchair, bench cushion or roman blind where its cool grey palette can sit alongside oak, black metal and painted timber. It also works well in light-filled rooms that need pattern without adding warmth.
