Mandu Taupe

Misc Fabric

Mandu Taupe combines a soft taupe ground with pale leaf trails that read light and airy against the weave. The repeating botanical motif feels ordered but organic, with a quiet contrast that lifts the surface.

About this fabric

Woven in 70% viscose and 30% linen, this fabric has the relaxed handle and subtle texture you would expect from a viscose-linen blend. The 145cm width makes it practical for a range of interior projects, while the 22cm pattern repeat keeps the trailing leaf design easy to plan across larger drops or upholstered sections. In this colourway, the taupe background sits in a warm, muted register and the off-white leaves stand out cleanly without looking stark. The overall effect is calm and tailored, with enough pattern movement to add interest without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use Mandu Taupe on a Roman blind, occasional chair or cushion where the soft taupe ground can sit alongside oak, chalky whites and stone finishes. It will bring gentle pattern and a grounded warmth to rooms that need texture rather than strong colour.

Pair with linen, pale oak and brushed metal for an understated, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
