Livorno Indigo

Misc Fabric

Livorno Indigo shows a neat all-over lattice of slender wavy outlines, each enclosing a small teardrop motif. The indigo accents sit on a warm stone background, giving the design a crisp but softened contrast.

About this fabric

Woven in 73% BCI cotton and 27% viscose, this 140cm-wide fabric has a dry, tailored handle that still feels refined enough for upholstery or drapery. The pattern repeat is 18.5cm vertically and 4.5cm horizontally, creating a compact rhythmic layout across the cloth. Visually, the colourway balances pale stone with inky indigo and muted teal-blue notes, so the motif reads more classic than bright. The fine surface texture and small-scale repeat make it easy to use on chairs, cushions, blinds or curtains where a controlled decorative effect is wanted.

How to use it

Use it to bring pattern into a room without overpowering a scheme; the stone ground keeps the indigo motif light and versatile. It works especially well with walnut, painted oak and simple neutral upholstery.

Pairs neatly with pale woods, brass and clean-lined upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
