About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is 140cm wide and made from 12% cotton, 38% polyester and 50% recycled polyester, giving the cloth a practical woven handle for upholstery or curtains. The repeat is 78cm vertical and 68cm horizontal, which suits the tall, scattered leaf pattern visible across the surface. In this colourway, the lilac reads as dusty and greyed, balanced by taupe, stone and touches of burgundy for depth. The weave has a softly textured, slightly napped appearance that keeps the design looking relaxed rather than crisp. Care is noted as 1<NTQ.

How to use it

Use Lingdale Lilac on a statement chair, cushions or full-length curtains where its muted purple tones can sit comfortably with pale oak, plaster pink or warm grey paintwork. The softly weathered palette also works well in rooms that need pattern without adding sharp contrast.

Pair with chalky neutrals and aged wood to let the lilac-grey ground stay calm and elegant.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
