About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is 140cm wide and composed of 12% cotton, 38% polyester and 50% recycled polyester, giving the cloth a practical mixed-fibre body for upholstery use. The pattern repeat is 78cm vertical by 68cm horizontal, which suits the generous, painterly scale of the foliage motif. In this colourway, the teal reads fresh and clear rather than dark or moody, while the surrounding sage, olive and soft grey shapes keep the design grounded. The overall effect is layered and textural, with the woven ground helping the leaves feel softly brushed rather than sharply printed. Care instruction 1<NTQ is supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Lingdale Teal on a statement chair, bench or occasional cushion where the teal and olive foliage can bring movement to a neutral room. It works especially well with limed woods, pale stone and muted green accents.

Pair with pale oak and chalky neutrals to let the teal foliage stand out.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
