About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is 140cm wide and made from 93% polyester and 7% lurex, giving the cloth its subtle shimmer and practical textile body. The design shows an abstract, large-scale network of pale crackle marks and smoky veining over a dusty blue-green base, with the 35.5cm vertical and 36cm horizontal repeat helping the pattern keep its rhythm across a larger piece. The overall tone is muted rather than bright, reading as a restrained duck-egg teal with earthy undertones and an aged, textured surface. It feels smart and layered, with the contrast between the light markings and deeper ground giving the fabric extra depth.

How to use it

Use it on a statement chair, ottoman or loose cover where the teal ground can bring colour without looking loud. It also works well for curtains or Roman blinds in rooms with stone, oak or warm neutral finishes.

The muted teal base and ivory crackle make this an easy way to add pattern without overwhelming a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
