About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is woven in 95% polyester and 5% lurex, giving the surface a faint metallic flicker against its deeper base colour. The 140cm width makes it practical for a range of furnishing projects, while the 34cm vertical and 35.5cm horizontal repeat create a clearly structured patterned rhythm. Visually, the colourway reads as a cool sapphire teal, with the lighter yarns broken into short strokes that give the cloth a slightly painterly, crosshatched look. The overall effect is smart and contemporary, with enough depth to soften the shine of the lurex.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman, or dining seat where the dark teal ground can anchor a room without feeling flat. It pairs particularly well with walnut timber, black metal, and warm neutrals that let the sapphire notes stand out.
