About this fabric
This colourway reads as a deep teal with sapphire undertones, broken up by fine turquoise flecks that catch the light and give the surface a subtle metallic glint. The 95% polyester and 5% lurex composition supports that crisp, reflective look, while the 140cm width makes it practical for larger projects. Its 24cm vertical repeat gives the design a strong rhythmic presence, visible in the repeating pointed forms across the cloth. The overall effect is smart and slightly dramatic rather than bright, with a textured appearance that suits rooms needing depth and movement.
How to use it
Pair this sapphire teal with blackened woods, smoked glass and warm brass for a polished scheme. It also works well with pale stone or soft grey to let the shimmer stand out.
Use for statement upholstery or tailored curtains where the dark teal shimmer can add depth.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Babylon FR Sapphire without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
