About this fabric

This colourway combines a 93% polyester, 7% lurex composition with a lively metallic sheen that gives the surface extra depth and movement. At 140cm wide, it offers a generous cloth for either curtains or statement upholstery pieces. The pattern repeat is 35.5cm vertical by 36cm horizontal, and the design shows a branching, crackled effect in deep amethyst against olive-brown undertones, punctuated by warm golden flashes. The overall effect is richly atmospheric, with the lurex adding a subtle glint rather than a high shine.

How to use it

Pair Lava FR Amethyst with dark walnut, aged brass and textured neutrals to lean into its luxurious, twilight palette. It also works well as a bold accent against softer taupe or stone upholstery.

Use with warm metallics and rich neutrals to echo the gilded surface effect.
