About this fabric

The dense crushed-pile texture shifts between saturated berry purple and black as the surface catches or absorbs the light. Irregular mottled patches create a medium-scale abstract effect, with no directional motif or repeat to align. At 580gsm, with a usable width of 140cm and a standard length of 30m, it is a substantial textile suited to upholstered furniture. The vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0cm, making the organic surface straightforward to position across a project.

How to use it

Use Crush Berry on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its dark blackberry tone can anchor a room. Balance the saturated colour with warm timber, aged brass or quieter neutral upholstery.

Use the deep berry and black contrast to bring saturated, dramatic colour to statement upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Crush Berry without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
