About this fabric
The surface combines fine, broken linear marks with gently blurred rectangular and organic forms, producing a small-scale pattern that shifts subtly across the cloth. The dusty orchid base reads cool and muted, while lighter threads catch the surface and prevent the mauve tone from appearing flat. At 439gsm and 144cm wide, this substantial textile is well suited to upholstery applications. The pattern repeats over 7.7cm vertically and 4.8cm horizontally, while the standard length is 40 metres.
How to use it
Use Yoruba Orchid on an occasional chair, headboard or compact sofa where its muted mauve tone can bring colour without overwhelming the room. Pair it with chalky neutrals, warm grey or softly aged timber to echo the swatch’s understated taupe contrast.
