About this fabric
This plain fabric has a rich mulberry tone that shifts between deep purple and restrained burgundy across the surface. Its low-contrast shading gives the cloth a softly textured, gently brushed appearance without a visible pattern repeat. At 300 gsm and 144 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery. The 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats allow straightforward cutting without motif matching, while the standard length is 35 m.
How to use it
Use Alvar Mulberry to bring depth to a reading chair, sofa or generously gathered curtain, especially alongside warm timber, aged brass and dusky neutrals. Its dark plum tone works particularly well where a room needs saturated colour without a bright or glossy finish.
