About this fabric
This colourway has a distinctly warm mocha tone, softened by a muted taupe cast and delicate vertical tonal movement visible through the weave. Its plain surface is quietly textured, with the light catching differently across the subtle variations rather than forming a repeated design. At 300gsm and 144cm usable width, it has the substance of a versatile upholstery textile. Both vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0cm, so the fabric can be cut without matching a motif.
How to use it
Use Alvar Mocha to upholster a chair, headboard or sofa where its warm brown-taupe depth can soften cream, stone and natural timber schemes. Its quiet plain texture also works well alongside stronger patterned cushions without introducing another visible motif.
