About this fabric

The 300 gsm fabric has a plain appearance, with no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, so its quiet tonal variation remains the defining detail. In this Midnight colourway, charcoal and blue-grey shading move gently across the surface rather than reading as a flat black. The 144 cm usable width is practical for upholstery and drapery applications where a broad, uninterrupted ground is useful. Supplied in a standard 35 m length, it offers a substantial mid-weight cloth for coordinated room schemes.

How to use it

Use Alvar Midnight on a reading chair, headboard or full-length curtains when a room needs cool, enveloping depth without a strong motif. Pair its charcoal-blue tone with pale stone, smoked timber and brushed metal to bring out the subtle tonal shifts in the weave.

Its deep midnight tone and softly brushed surface bring quiet depth to upholstery, curtains and layered schemes.
